Restore Old Right Click Menu in Windows 11 – No Complicated Steps

Here we have two solutions. First one is permanently restoring the classic right click menu on Windows using Optimizer app. Other option is accessing the classic right click menu with a shortcut so that you have access to both right click menus.

Permanent Option

Normally this process involves editing the registry files which is not recommended. Because misusing it may cause unstable system behaviors and other issues. Therefore, we are using free and open-source application called Optimizer to safely do those complicated steps for us.

Step 1: Download Optimizer App.

Step 2: Enable Old Right Click Menu

Open recently downloaded Optimizer app. Go to Windows 11 section from the top navigation.

At the end of that Windows 11 section, you will see “Extras” categories. Under “Extras” category select “Enable Classic Right Click Menu” option.

Step 3: Restart your computer to apply changes

Check top right corner of the application. You will see new button appear as “Restart to apply changes”. Select it to restart your computer.

Once system restart completed check right click menu. You will see old classic right click menu instead of new one.
